Wander the streets and back lanes of this fascinating city where around every corner a surprise awaits the senses. Maybe a walk to the Oltrano where the artisans still ply their trade and where many locals live, the ’left bank’ of the Arno River, this is home to the Pitti Palace and the beautiful Boboli Gardens. Our lunch today is in a wonderful and iconic wine bar where we will taste the freshest focaccia straight out of the oven topped with the most imaginative ingredients, washed down with a lovely Chianti from one of the best wine growing estates, belonging to the owner. This is lunch the Florentine way - sometimes even standing! Later we will make our way to Piazzale Michelangelo for a wonderful view of Florence below. Breakfast & Lunch and wine included
Guided tour of the Uffizi, home to the Medici’s famous collection of 14th to 18th century Italian art.
