Best of the best!
How many best experiences can a girl have?? At least two a day if you’re on a trip with Annette in Tuscany and the Amalfi coast.
We had the best aperitivos, the best meals, the best wine, the best guide, the best driver, the best gelato, the best picnic, the best accommodation .... the list goes on and on. I couldn’t believe that one day’s top experiences could be matched the next day.
The two week trip was a mix of culture (excellent guides in the Uffizzi, Sienna, Pompeii), fine dining, fine wining, shopping, walking if desired, swimming in the Tyrrhenian sea if desired, a boat trip to Capri .... I felt I’d died and woken in a book or a movie. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. And so wonderful to have everything taken care of - the only decisions that had to be made were - what to choose on the menu! All the hassles of transport, selecting restaurants, working out tips etc were taken away and ably dealt with by Annette.
I can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Italian Indulgence tour and that’s exactly what it was.. an Italian indulgence. We stayed at lovely hotels, the food was the best I have ever eaten and we went from one beautiful location to another. Annette was a fantastic, dynamic leader. She always had heaps of ideas and somehow was able to accommodate everyone’s desires. It was great fun going with a group of women. I haven’t laughed so much in years. It was such an easy way to travel with every detail organized and teaching us the Italian way of doing things. The guides were always so knowledgeable which meant not only did we have fun but we learnt lots about the history and culture too. The only negative I can think of is that I’ve put on a couple of kilos so no more dolce for me!

Thanks again for a marvelous trip this year, we are still dreaming about Italy and want to go back again soon. It was just so special and as you know we really didn’t want the worry of driving and trying to tackle the roads, and the Italian drivers. With our sister and brother in law we were nervous of how we would fit into another group but it worked brilliantly. We felt completely relaxed and safe every step of the way and this was all due to your wonderful planning. The guides were so informative and we feel as though we learned so much but it was not over the top. The little restaurant in Siena for lunch was one of the highlights for me with that great view and the wonderful food. I have told my friends what a great tour it was in fact, it is the tour you have when you are traveling with friends, not strangers. Thank you so much.

This trip was an absolute dream for me and my husband. I had read about the incredible hill towns of Tuscany but didn’t expect them to be so amazingly beautiful. The food was superb, the company was really terrific - who would believe that a group of strangers would become immediate friends? Annette, the manager, helped every step of the way - nothing was too much trouble. Rome was superb and the Vatican tour so memorable. We are so glad that we didn’t do this trip on our own as there was no way we would have found the out of the way places we did. This was a very special tour and although we were worried about joining in with a group - it turned out to be the best decision we made all year.

Of course we loved the cooking course, the farm tour and the winery at the castle. These are things you would not normally be aware of and were just a very memorable part. The tour guides were all very good, especially Paola, who was exceptional. We were kept busy but had adequate time to explore on our own. ...Mike and I had never been to Europe and we can’t imagine anything better that the one you planned for us. We really had a wonderful time and would do it all again.

What a fabulous holiday. It was such a pleasant change from the other tours we had done in the past. In our travels with Italian Indulgence we based ourselves in a wonderful villa near Siena. Our group went to a wine festival in Greve,   what a fantastic experience wine tasting in the town square and soaking up the atmosphere and then to be entertained by the local band and marching girls at the end of the day.

We participated in a cooking class where we prepared, cooked and ate our own   4 course meal in the true Italian way. You certainly gain an appreciation   on how passionate Italians are with their food, the time spent was well worth it. Belissimo!!!

Shopping in San Gimignano is a definite treat, the men can climb the tower   while the women are left to shop and the bargains are a plenty in this quaint little town.

Italian Indulgence has definitely made my Tuscan holiday a memorable and   exciting experience, something I will never forget.

Just thought I would express thanks for your input into our holiday, your ideas and knowledge on everything Tuscan made our holiday that much more enjoyable. Looking back on our tour of the Tuscan countryside was an adventure I will always think of fondly. Visiting the villages and wineries during the wine festival season whilst tasting local cuisine and fabulous wines I am now hooked on everything Italian.

From our cooking course in Siena (which none of the males were initially keen on, but soon became completely immersed in - one male commented it was one of his highlights of Siena) to shopping in the trendy Siena boutiques with beautiful Italian shirts, ties, leather goods to the small villages scattered amongst the countryside and lunching with the locals - I really cannot pinpoint which I enjoyed most.

The villa you chose to accommodate our party was everything and more I had hoped for. It was lovely to wake up each morning and view the countryside and feel part of the local surrounds, which was something we would not have experience if not for your expertise. Once again many thanks on an extraordinary holiday.
